It’s PERSIMMON season! Excited to offer these no-spray local fruits that are super nutritious (one contains 55% of your daily Vitamin A), and yummy! This is the Fuyu variety, one of our Chefs’ favorites.

A ripe persimmon (soft to touch) has a rich & mildly sweet flavor, skin similar to an apple and a texture kind of like an apricot. It’s a crazy mix of natural goodness! You can eat these fresh, roasted or made into some amazing seasonal desserts.

For full flavor - if your persimmon is firm, leave it in the bag on the counter until it’s soft to the touch - then enjoy!
