Celeste Figs: pre-order pick-up or local home delivery
Fresh Celeste figs are finally ready! Our partner is a beyond organic grower and the very first of these beauties have just started to ripen. Did you know that figs were one of the first cultivated foods - and they are actually an inverted flowers, not technically a fruit?
We’ll be enjoying these as all of our ancestors would have - with fresh local honey & freshly baked bread. We also enjoy figs atop salads and just plain. Large portions in ~1.6# :)
Try out this recipe for a beautiful fig & tomato salad (recipe adapted from Paleo OMG)
Also, remember to refrigerate fresh figs. They are very perishable and keep best in the fridge.
